Gives the same paw
To help your dog distinguish between right and left paws use different cues to name "left" and "right" to do so. First, teach your dog to give you one paw. If you are practicing the command "right paw" and the dog tries to give the left one, don't say anything, just withdraw your hand. Put it out again and only reward the dog when they give the right paw.
Touches my hand without giving the paw completely
Many dogs do not like their paws to be held, it limits their freedom of movement. So your dog may try to just touch you with the paw and move it away quickly. In the beginning, you can reward this behavior. But as time goes by, increase the time that the dog has to hold contact with your hand before you click and reward. Never forcefully take the paw away or hold it against the dog's will.
